Police from Tambo and the Charleville Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two people following a routine traffic intercept yesterday in which 18.5 kilograms of cannabis was located with an estimated street value of between $180,000 and $450,000.

At 2.45pm on Sunday, police intercepted a Mazda CX3 as it was travelling along Arthur Street through Tambo.
It will be alleged officers searched the vehicle and located 18.5 kilograms of cannabis, a restricted drug and a sum of money.
It will be further alleged that police seized two phones and two electronic tablet devices.
A 48-year-old Victorian man was scheduled to appear in Charleville Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of restricted drugs, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime, and failing to take reasonable care and precautions in respect of a syringe or needle.
A 31-year-old Parramatta Park woman was scheduled to appear in Charleville Magistrates Court on Tuesday, charged with possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of restricted drugs and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.
