UPDATE: Police have located the driver of a vehicle who triggered a large scale search after he had reportedly crashed down an embankment in the Biggenden area.

The man was located at a coffee shop in Maryborough and was not physically injured.
The man had spoken with Queensland Ambulance Service at 3am when he reported that he was trapped in a grey VW Golf sedan which had crashed on his way to the rock pools at Utopia, Boompa.
It is believed this incident didn’t occur.
A helicopter from Bundaberg and police crews from Mundubbera, Childers and Maryborough were assisting Biggenden police with the search.
