AUSTRALIAN Professional Rodeo Association action heads to Moree in northern New South Wales for the show rodeo on Saturday.

The show rodeo, which is for APRA Championship points, will feature the three rough stock events in the APRA.
Action at the Moree Show Rodeo will start from 5.30pm Saturday at the Moree Showgrounds.
Bareback rider from Tara (Qld) Dinny Moran will have some tough competition especially from Jack Kidd who paced in a few rounds of the National Finals Rodeo last year.
In the Saddle Bronc, the three favourites are three-times Mt Isa winner Michael Maher (Warwick), 2016 National Finals Round Winner Allan Powell (Springsure) and past Pro Tour Champion Cameron Webster from Wandoan.

In the Bull Ride, Ben Palmer from Toowoomba and Tamworth rider Tim Amey are both strong chances but Echuca (Victoria) rider Hayden Tyrrell is also one to watch.
After this weekend, the APRA moves on to Narrabri for a show rodeo on May 5 and then the Mackay Toyota Nebo Rodeo on May 13 which will feature a Junior Rodeo in daytime and an open Rodeo at night.
