Rain affects campdraft events

Rain played havoc with last weekend's campdraft action, with only one event going ahead.

The Campdraft action is slowly starting up again for another year. However the recent rain put a dampener on last weekend’s events, with only one out of five being able to go ahead.

The Ariat Champion Open Rider Title has seen little movement lately with Ben Hall still holding first place followed by Pete Comiskey. With a few more drafts to be run before the end of the competition year and the National Finals themselves, we could see a close finish for this prestigious title.

Points are close for the Riverina Champion Open Horse Title with only a mere 13.5 points separating Eltorrio and Classy Dove, owned by Ben and Jaye Hall. Contract owned by Craig and Fiona Radke has jumped a massive seven spots and is now sitting in eight place. This is one horse to watch.
