Prices continued to drop from the oversupply of cattle numbers being sent to saleyards throughout Central Queensland, with numbers rising to 1564 head at Monto for the fortnightly sale held on March 1. With many feedlots full and the prevailing dry conditions prices eased by about 20c/kg liveweight.  Only widespread rain will help ease the slide in the markets.  Cattle were sourced from Biloela, Goovigen, Kalpowar, Eidsvold, Langley Flats and Monto districts.
