PTIC Droughtmaster heifers sold to $1810 with the draft of 61 averaging $1610. Stuart Paterson and family Harlin sold Droughtmaster milk tooth steers for $1400. John and Sharon Cruickshank, Cracow, sold 258 No6 Santa steers topping at $1415 with the excellent average of $1233.
Brian, Anette and Andrew Ahern, Gayndah, sold Charbray steers 18 months for $1150. Ashely Schefe, Crows Nest, sold quality Charbray steers 16 months for $1145. Terry Rauchle, Woolooga, sold Charolais-cross steer calves for $1030 and $1015. Barry Dunning sold Santa steer calves for $1105. Sydney Williams sold a draft of light condition Santa steers 10-12 months for $1025 and $980. Wigton Grazing Co, Gayndah, sold Brahman-cross steers 30 months for $1310. B&P Woodhead sold Euro-cross steers 24-30 months for $1330. Scott Laidler of Monogorilby sold late No6 Angus-cross steers for $935 and $930.
Alan Cousins, Harlin, sold a quality line of Droughtmaster and Charolais-cross heifers PTIC, topping at $1810. These were keenly sought after with one buyer purchasing 48 of these great heifers. Denis Tones sold two to six tooth Santa heifers for $1140. Merv Burow had Charolais-cross feeder heifers for $1185. Harvey Campbell and family, Gin Gin, sold Angus-cross feeder heifers for $1155.
Terry Rauchle sold quality Charbray heifers 16 months for $1180. Graham McPherson sold quality Charolais-cross heifer calves for $970. Lester and Linda Heck sold Charolais heifer calves for $910. Lone Pine Cattle Co, Eidsvold, sold 18 months heifers for $875 and 10-12 months Santa-cross heifers for $760. Syd Williams sold Santa-cross heifers 10-12 mths for $1130.
