THE first Roma store sale of the new year has been cancelled due to lack of numbers.

A store sale was scheduled for next Tuesday, January 10 but was cancelled today after patchy rainfall in the district restricted numbers.
The next store sale will now be held on January 17 and the first prime sale on January 19.
Landmark Roma's Rod Turner said recent rainfall and the holiday period had contributed to the cancellation.
“I know a number of people are still away for another week,” he said.
