Around 1500 fans helped Australian country music legend Lee Kernaghan christen the $2.5 million Outback Entertainment Centre in Longreach on Sunday night, unleashing his high decibel sound across the brand new arena.

The facility coped well with the opening night, which included the NRL grand final on the big screen and the Wolfe Brothers as the support act.
