Agents Bartholomew & Co reported a strong market for all descriptions at the Wyadrigah Pastoral One Brand Sale at Beaudesert on Saturday. A well handled, top quality line of Charolais cross and Santa Gertrudis cross steers and heifers came to hand. Their presentation was a credit to the vendors and their team.
Kindon Station, Goondiwindi, purchased the first two pens of Charolais cross steers for $1165 and $1160. Elders Meandarra also purchased Charolais cross steers for $1145. Elders Walgett purchased pens of Santa cross steers, paying up to $1050.
Barry and Eileen O’Reilly, Boonah, purchased a pen of Santa steers for $965. Graham Isbell, Coulson, purchased two pens of Santa steers for $950. Hills Family, Chinghee, purchased three pens of Santa cross steers paying up to $820.
Ashley Stevens, Moogerah, purchased three pens of Santa cross steers paying up to $775. Ozzie Cattle Co, Boonah, purchased two pens of Santa cross steers for $715.
Elders Walgett bought the first four pens of Charolais cross heifers, paying up to $1025. Chasing The Dream, Allandale, purchased a pen of Charolais cross heifers for $925. Riverwood Rural Trading, Narromine, purchased a pen of Santa heifers for $790. Grant Forge, Jimboomba purchased two pens of Santa heifers paying up to $775.
