NEARLY 40 vendors travelled to the Longreach saleyards last week aiming to sell 295 bulls from across 18 breeds.

The sale topped at $13,000 for a Rondel Droughtmaster sire.
Rondel Passport, sold to Ben Avery and his grandparents, Clem and Oriel Richardson, Chippendale Pastoral Holdings, Allandale, Blackall.
The Rondel prefix also sold the second top price lot, a herd bull, Rondel 2655 to Scott and Jenna Elliott, Winton for $10,500.
A red Brahman sire, JNH Leroy sold to Ben and Jaye Hall, Halls Brahmans, Muttaburra for $9000.
Four bulls sold to $6500 including two Shorthorns, a Charolais and a Droughtmaster.
