BRETT and Sue Campbell's 16,008ha (39,555ac) Muttaburra property Hillview has sold to David and Christine Batt from Kynuna and Ian and Winnie Batt from Richmond for about $284/ha ($115/acre).

The Western Queensland property was sold bare of livestock but the sale included about $80,000 worth of plant.
Hillview also has 4176ha of additional area making the total usable area 20,184ha (49,876 acres).
The estimated carrying capacity is 3900 LSU. During the past five years Hillview has consistently been running about 2000 breeders and 700 head of weaners and replacement females.
The country is described as being 14,200ha of shaded Mitchell and Flinders grass downs country with buffel areas surrounding water points and creeks.
There is about 6020ha of Landsborough creek and supply channel flood-out country.
Hillview is fenced into 11 main paddocks plus three holding paddocks. All paddocks are described as suitable for both sheep and cattle.
Improvements include a homestead, cottage, workshop and sheds, excellent water infrastructure, 1000 head cattle yards, shearing shed, sheepyards, and shearers quarters.
The property is located about 42km north west of Muttaburra and 165km north west of Longreach.
Hillview was previously auctioned on March 29 last year where it was passed in on a vendor bid of $5.3m.
The sale was handled by Tom McLeish from TopX Longreach.
