Marketing agent John Wilkinson, Hoch and Wilkinson, said bidding started at $3m before rising to $3.5m. The property was passed in to an adjoining landholder, he said.
The post-auction asking price is equal to about $852/ha ($345/acre).
Five parties had registered to bid on the extremely well grassed property which is described as fence to fence buffel with a seca influence.
Lamorby is located 35km north of Alpha and is the Comiskey family's bullock depot, consistently running 1400 steers and bullocks.
Lamorby has been pulled with the exception of water ways and shade lines. About 85pc of the property has been blade ploughed.
The property is gently undulating brigalow, blackbutt, melon hole and soft wood scrub country.
Lamorby is watered by Native Companion Creek, five dams and a bore which can supply water to all paddocks.
Improvements include a cottage, eight paddocks and three holding paddocks.
