Elders auctioneer Joe Lehman said with increased numbers hitting the market and feedlots running at 100 percent capacity were pushing prices down.

Heavy yearling steers to feed were the least affected, to be firm to 2c cheaper, however yearling
heifers suffered the most to lose 10c and over 20c/kg in places.
A small sample of heavy grown steers and bullocks were cheaper by 8c-12c. Good heavy weight cows lost 10c, with plainer cows the least affected, to average 5c less.
