Speaking at the Cecil Plains rally today, Mr Hopper said he believed the Newman Government would amend and change his proposed bill in an effort to avoid making a firm decision on the arrow Cecil Plains development.
"13 months there has been a new government in this state and there is still no decision on this land," Mr Hopper told Queensland Country Life.
Mr Hopper also distributed 250 signs calling for 'no CSG' to landholders and supporters at the rally.
Mr Hopper defected from the Newman government backbenches to the Katter party late last year.
Mr Hopper told Queensland Country Life at the time that perceived State Government inaction over resource sector development was among his reasons for defecting.
