As usual, the weather was a topic of interest, and this year people commented on the warm, sunny days as opposed to the bitterly cold FarmFest of 2012.
The launch of new agricultural website www.AgTrader.com.au also attracted interest, with the website bringing together a broad range of products for buyers and sellers.
Vanderfield Toowoomba branch manager Paul Wallace said they put a lot of effort into their site this year and were pleased with the results.
“For us it’s about being able to come to a field day and show people what we’ve got,” he said.
“It’s been excellent and we have had a lot of people through.
“That’s probably because of the weather – it’s been a beautiful three days here.”
Over 2000 companies were represented on-site, with something for everyone to peruse, from self propelled sprayers, to cattle crushes, tractors and the beloved ugg boot.
