THE Santa Gertrudis Breeders’ Association has terminated the employment of its general manager, Bill Dunlop, effective today.
Association president, Dennis Moxey, confirmed the move to Queensland Country Life this morning.
“We don’t want to say a lot at this stage,” Mr Moxey said.
“I am writing to inform members. We needed a change in management style and that’s why we did it.”
Mr Dunlop is widely known across the beef industry having spent time with the Charolais Society of Australia and the World Charolais Council before being appointed the Santa Gertrudis Breeders’ Association General Manger in 2011.
Mr Dunlop declined to comment when contacted by Queensland Country Life.
