In a classic barbarians style game which featured plenty of bone crunching tackles, the tourists ran in eight to one in a match cut short because of bad light conditions.
The match was notable for decisive runs by Jeff Searle, Burdekin, and Dominic O'Connor, Goondiwindi, who gave the backs every opportunity.
Flanker Simon Lane, St George, was the first to score in, Charlotte running from the base of scrum to score under the posts.
Mr Reliable and Man of the match, No. 8 Tom Williams, Cloncurry, led the way scoring in the 10th minute after 10 phases of pick and drive.
Centre, Alex Corlis was next to score when the Outback Barbarians dominant scrum won again the feed and saw a swift backline movement to make it 19-0.
In the 29th minute after a scrum win near the opposition try line Matt Langmack, Gold Coast, darted through a narrow opening to score outside.
Possession chopped and changed through unforced errors from both sides but it was the home side which took advantage of a charged down chip kick which was regathered to score beside the posts making the half time score 24-5.
Both teams came out fighting after the break which was cut to just four minutes because of bad light.
It took until 10 minutes in until Sam Lane, Mackay, forced his massive 160kg frame over for a five pointer.
The home side showed plenty of grit despite the one sided score line. Some tough play saw possession change hands a number of times.
It took until the 25th minute for Cameron Todeschino, Burdekin, to force his way over the line to make it 36-5.
Five minutes later, after some disciplined Outback Barbarians play, and a trademark tackle by Alex Corliss, Goondiwindi, on his opposing centre and a blockbusting run by prop Lach Cossart, Condamine, who popped a smart offload to replacement second rower George Skuthorp, Longreach, who scored in the corner.
The final try went to a hard running fullback Michael Jamieson, Goondiwindi, bringing the score to 46-5.
