MEAT-LOVERS united in Brisbane on Thursday night to celebrate the grand opening of the Brazilian barbecue Navala Churrascaria at Riverside Quarter.
Sumptuous Friboi and AMH steaks were served alongside mouth-watering Great Southern lamb as live Brazilian music played to the backdrop of the restaurant's stunning riverside location.
Sourcing the highest quality Queensland beef, Navala partnered with JBS Australia to provide diners with an experience that was not to be missed.
Produced exclusively at the Dinmore facility near Ipswich, JBS Australia representative Brad De Luca said the 70-day grainfed and MSA-graded Friboi beef cuts would be among 18 products provided to Navala.
"Navala recognised JBS as the perfect partner to their business due to our reputation for quality, comprehensive brand portfolio, reliability and knowledge of South American cuisine," Mr De Luca said.
"Queensland beef has got a great reputation all over the world for its excellent eating qualities and food safety record that stems from the high standards that are set by the passionate, professional and reliable farming families that are responsible for producing it.
"We are proud to be able to place this product into restaurants in the local market so it is able to be enjoyed by everyone."
Mr De Luca said Navala would feature a wide range of beef and lamb cuts and cooking styles from wood and charcoal fire pits.
"Many people may not have experienced these cooking styles before, and we are very excited to supply product for this unique dining experience."
Recently awarded Australia's Best Steak at the Royal Queensland Food and Wine Show for their Swift Premium Brand, JBS Australia continues to sweep the competition with high-quality Queensland beef produced through strong working relationships with livestock suppliers and cattle farmers.
"To us, this is validation that the work we are doing to build a strong brand portfolio, from paddock to plate, is paying dividends for all involved."
