The sale saw a total of 39 lots sold for a 89 per cent clearance and a top of $8000.

Offered at the sale were 19 led heifers,12 unled heifers, three genetic packages, two led bulls, seven led steers and two commercial females.

A total of 19 led heifers sold for a 100pc clearance to average $3131 to a top of $5250 for Kalara Rumblin Storm M03 (PF), a black polled heifer offered by Jamie Hollis and Mikayla Passmore, Kalara Limousins, Linthorpe.

The Riley family, Naradale, Coonabarabran, NSW offered Oakvale MIA (PF), a polled black heifer which topped at $8000 for the seven unled heifers that averaged $1916.

Three genetic packages sold to an average of $533 and one bull sold for $3000.

There was good money paid for led steers with all seven lots selling to an average of $2129 and topping at $4500.

Robyn Nobbs, Ro-Maree, Westbrook sold Ro-Maree Napolean (PU), a eight-month-old black, poll steer for $4500 to ACE Fitting who will join their show team. 

ACE Fitting purchased three steers from Ro-Maree Limousins to average $2433 to include in their show team and hope to start showing the steers in January 2018. 

Callum McNichol, Stormy Limousins, Stanthorpe paid the top price of $8000 for Oakvale MIA (PF), a polled black heifer to join his show team and was looking for a good shape with structural soundness and pedigree breeding.

Darren Hartwig and Shelly Begg purchased five led heifers, three from Adam and Kahlia Williamson, AT Limousins, Ballandean and two from the Dwan family, Elwanvale Limousins, Allora to average $3500.

“It was a great turn out with a good number of bid card and great support from vendors with the quality of stock on offer,” Neil Goetsch, Goetsch and Sons Auctioneers said.

“We have buyers from coastal areas, plus Gympie down to Dubbo and even New South Wales.” Selling agents: Goetsch and Sons.
