Those were the words of the president of the Australian Lot Feeders Association Tess Herbert at the organisation’s annual conference, SmartBeef 2017, which attracted a sell-out crowd.
Held at the University of New England in Armidale on Thursday, delegates heard from a plethora of experienced and innovative talkers, all experts in a variety of fields covering everything from applying research to achieve production efficiencies to global marketing.
The conference continues today (Friday) with a trip to Sundown Pastoral Company west of Armidale.
