Blake Machinery Group (BMG), a family owned business with its head office on the Sunshine Coast, has added spare parts supply to its machinery sales business.
BMG is leading the way in providing Volvo equipment owners with an alternative to purchasing often expensive, genuine spare parts.
Managing director Cameron Blake said that after 20 years in the machinery sales business, he saw an opportunity to assist equipment owners with a cost-effective alternative without compromising quality.
“BMG supplies high quality, after-market spare parts to suit Volvo construction and earthmoving equipment within Australia and overseas. Also available are used parts that have been refurbished, reconditioned and/or rebuilt for sale and used parts on an as-is basis,” he said.
“We also offer service exchange on major components such as engines, transmissions and differentials to minimise downtime for your equipment. Our experienced fitters are available to fit any parts or components on-site or in our own workshop facility and warranty is provided on all new and reconditioned parts.”
BMG parts manager John Mulhearn, who has 15 years’ experience as a part interpreter, said their aim was to respond quickly to all parts requests to minimise machine downtime for customers.
“Our location on the Bruce Highway, only one hour north of the Brisbane Airport, means we can easily access all major transport routes to receive and dispatch parts in and out of our yard without delay.
“Another exciting development for BMG is the arrival of the German made Hydrema dump truck to add to our existing machinery sales business,” BMG equipment sales manager Rob Alexander said.
“BMG is the exclusive agent for Hydrema dump trucks in Queensland, NT, Victoria, Tasmania, SA and Tasmania. The Hydrema is a small, agile and robust 10 tonne dump truck with an articulated centre pivot. What grabs the attention of most is the 180-degree multi-tip body.
“The Cummins engine and ZF transmission are simple to operate. That and its compact design and superior off-road capability make this machine well suited for rental and contracting.
“The Hydrema can be configured to suit a vast array of applications including as a dump truck, water truck, concrete agitator and off-road tray truck. We also have customers who have fitted it with Hi-Rail equipment making it suitable for the construction and maintenance of railway lines and tracks,” he said.
In light of the popularity of this machine, BMG Parts now stock spare parts for Hydrema machines.
“Our fitters are specially trained by Hydrema and fully qualified to undertake all service and repairs for Hydrema dump trucks,” Mr Blake said.
