Kumbia district cattleman Ian Schafferius has again been the target of the cattle stolen from his Dandilla property.
Mr Schafferius has lost nine head of Angus and F1 Wagyu dry cows sometime between May 3, and June 23, earlier this year.
This latest heist brings a total of 58 head of cattle stolen from Mr Schafferius over the past three years.
“It really is very frustrating,” Mr Schafferius said.
“I do not believe that I am being targeted as an individual, rather it is the breed of my cattle.
“As I am the only one in the district with Black cattle, both Angus and FI Wagyu and I think that is the motivation behind the theft.”
Detective Sergeant Mark Ferling of the Kingaroy Major and Organised Crime Squad (Rural) is seeking the public's help to provide any information they may have.
“With cattle prices the way they are at the moment, losing cattle in these numbers is having a significant effect of beef producers in terms of income,” Detective Sergeant Ferling said.
Mr Schafferius is offering a $10,000 reward from any information leading to the return of the cattle or a conviction.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
