Polocrosse enthusiasts were given a rare treat on the weekend when 22 teams from around the state tried their luck against a team from New Zealand’s North Island at Tambo’s annual carnival.

The timing of the rain event for the state delivered a perfect 14mm on Thursday evening, making for a dust-free event.
Its aim was to save polocrosse in the west by giving spectators top level competition and it succeeded in doing that in spades.
