Buyer attendance was generally good with some additional processor demand in the cow section. Prices generally improved across most classes.
Medium weight yearling steers improved 2c while the medium weight yearling heifers to feed for domestic market averaged over 20c dearer.
Heavy grown steers and bullocks improved in price and cows gained 7c to 13c with the plain condition lines receiving the largest gains.
Medium weight yearling steers averaged 327c and heavy weights made from 302.2c to 324.2c to average 317.3c.
Light weight yearling heifers averaged 318.2c with medium weights making from 270c to 320.2c to average 305.2c.
Grown steers made to 309.2c and grown heifers made to 281.2c. Heavy weight cows sold from 228.2c to 238.2c and averaged 234.8c. The best bull made 310.2c.
