Meandarra district property Wollambi, owned by Barry and Doreen Cook, has sold after being passed in for $1.625 million at auction on Tuesday.
The successful buyers were local producers Merv, June, Tim and Natalie Slack, Foriston.
Wollambi consists of 1436 hectares of quality black and brown clay soils with a balance of red fertile soil.
The property is well positioned to livestock markets, feedlots and grain depots.
While the purchase price cannot be revealed, selling agent Andrew McCallum, GDL Real Estate, said the price was “significantly higher” than the passed in price.
