Helena completed Year 12 at Tooloa SHS.
Helena is working for QantasLink while studying for a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Central Queensland University.
She is also a qualified speech and drama teacher and dance instructor.
She is extremely passionate about local shows and hopes to encourage the younger generation to become involved in their local show.
She loves new challenges and hopes to be a mayor one day to ensure her region continues to grow and prosper.
Helena enjoys reading, socialising, dance, tennis and anything played on the Meteors Sports Club fields.
Q: What inspires you?
A: The joy that I receive when helping others. I don't think there is a better feeling. Life and the world in general motivate me to encourage others to help where they can.
Q: What do you see yourself doing in five years?
A: I would like to complete my Bachelor of Psychological Science and work towards my dream of becoming mayor of Gladstone.
Q: What's your main rule in life?
A: To be a breath of fresh air and a positive role model for the younger generation. I always give 120 per cent in all I do and work towards my goals.
Q: What are you looking forward to the most during the Showgirl Awards State Final at the Ekka?
A: I'm extremely grateful to have the opportunity to represent central Queensland and excited to extend my knowledge on Queensland shows and make new friends with all the other contestants from throughout Queensland.
