PINEAPPLE growers will have plenty of opportunity to get their boots on the ground with no less than four farm tours at the 2022 Pineapple Field Days.
The event will be based at the Bethonga Shed, Wamuran, Queensland, on Thursday and Friday, July 21 and 22.
It kicks off on the Thursday morning with a farm walk at Sandy Creek Pineapple Co, Glass House Mountains, providing a chance to look at the farm-wide bioreactor implementation.
This will be followed by a farm walk at nearby Pine-Co, with a particular look at a multi-purpose infield operating chassis, plus insights to a pineapple plant material collector and a LYRO Robotics demonstration featuring a robotic plant material size grader.
The afternoon session consisting of a trade show, presentations and machinery demonstrations will happen back at the Bethonga Shed.
