THE 2489 hectare (6150 acre) Calliope district calf factory Hidden Valley will be auctioned by Elders on June 15.
Located at Dilgum, 40km south west of Calliope and 60km from Gladstone, Hidden Valley is described as open to lightly timbered grazing country. About 90pc of the property in eight freehold titles is shown as white on the PMAV.
The country is predominantly low undulating hills rising to higher accessible slopes in the ranges. There are also numerous creek flats on the property.
About 1200ha has been pulled with 80 per cent of the area stick raked. An additional 440ha has undergone timber treatment.
The country has been developed with improved pastures and legumes, backed by native species.
Hidden Valley is well watered. There are seven bores equipped with solar submersibles, tanks and troughs, three unequipped bores, nine dams and three water holes, plus numerous springs and soaks along the water courses.
The nine main paddocks and several holding paddocks are connected to the cattle yards by laneways.
The spacious, four bedroom, two bathroom Queenslander homestead overlooks the picturesque Dan Dan Creek. The two storey homestead has wraparound verandahs, a large open plan living area with fireplace, and a generous kitchen. There are also a number of vehicle and storage sheds.
Hidden Valley will be auctioned by Elders in Biloela on June 15.
