A large crowd was on hand to see big dollars change hands for yearlings and some ridden horses at the Nutrien Supreme Sale in Toowoomba on Saturday.
Prices had already soared to $36,000 before 10am for a Yaven Spinacat chestnut filly during the first full day of selling.
It followed a small offering on Friday night when a chestnut mare Winderadeen Catitude offered by J and G Pastoral of Orange, NSW was knocked down for $40,000 to Nutrien Toowoomba as agent.
The sale will continue into Sunday.
