The 109th running of the Dalby Picnic Races saw a huge crowd descend on the Downs for a day at Bunya Park racecourse.
Despite being slightly colder and gloomier than previous years, Dalby's biggest annual race meet attracted a generous crowd whose colourful attire well and truly made up for the bleak weather.

Known for its 'city meets bush' atmosphere, the picnics was once again a huge success, with a tightly contested fashions on the field competition and plenty of punters hitting the bar with their winnings after a full seven-race program.
