A six-year-old Roma boy was pronounced dead at the scene of a traffic crash on the Carnarvon Highway early on Thursday morning.
The death occurred when a four-wheel-drive and truck collided near Injune at 2.10am.
The drivers of the two vehicles, a 33-year-old Roma man and a 59-year-old Brassall man, have been transported to hospital, as well as an 18-year-old female passenger.
The Forensic Crash Unit are further investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash.
The Carnarvon Highway re-opened at around 11am on Thursday morning, as confirmed by Queensland Police.
