ELDERS has reinforced its commitment to expanding services in rural, residential and commercial property with the appointment of Rob Anderson as its real estate manager for Queensland.
Previously the south east area manager for the rural services network, Mr Anderson led Elders presence in the region during a period of significant growth.
That growth included the revival of Elders FarmFest, resulting in record crowds supporting the iconic Toowoomba event.
State general manager Jamie Brogan said it was Mr Anderson's connection with local staff and communities that indicated his suitability for the new leadership role.
"During his time as area manager, Rob has shown strong and engaging leadership with an emphasis on coaching and developing our network."
"These skills will be invaluable in his new role to support our real estate network.
"We are really pleased to have Rob in this role as we look ahead to 2022."
Head of agribusiness investment services Mark Barber said the appointment in Queensland reinforced Elders support for the real estate industry, at a time when farming prices were particularly strong.
"Elders clients have had an outstanding year in real estate, and we anticipate the demand for quality property listings to continue to grow in 2022," Mr Barber said.
"Now is the time to be in agriculture."
Mr Anderson will spend the coming weeks transitioning into the state real estate manager position, upon the appointment of the South East Queensland area manager.
