Cattle comprised of larger runs of good quality bullocks and heavy feeder steers, selling to a very competitive buying panel, with a smaller yarding of females selling to unchanged rates.
The yarding was drawn from Tully, Richmond, Hughenden, Collinsville and Julia Creek along with local and coastal areas.

Store cattle were made up of mixed quality cattle consisting of mainly smaller consignments, which sold to a very strong panel of southern buyers, resulting in an increase in prices across the board, with significant interest in light weight cattle.
