BOWEN eight-year-old El Shaday could be in Brisbane in December for the Country Stampede final.
He won a qualifier over 1000m at Home Hill last Saturday, winning by three lengths from Charters Towers sprinter Which Lily and the Townsville-based Hit Snooze.
RQ approved regional and country meetings will be staged on November 5 in Rockhampton and Sunshine Coast; Nov 6 in Chinchilla, Cooktown, Moranbah, Toowoomba and Winton.
