A crowd of 130 people from all corners of the state gathered poolside at The View in Brisbane on Friday night to hear the long-awaited announcement of the 2021 Queensland Country Life Showgirl winners.
Traditionally taking place on the stage at the Royal Queensland Show, this year's modified event saw the 11 state finalists entertaining guests at an open-air cocktail function.
Mundubbera's Brittany Kugel claimed the tri-coloured sash while runner-up was Cheneya Vetter from Charleville.
In the 39th year the awards also featured married women for the first time and welcomed entrants between the ages of 18 and 28.
