For the second straight year the Burnett and South West sub chambers have taken out the top sashes in the 2021 Queensland Country Life Showgirl competition.
Mundubbera's Brittany Kugel was brought to tears when she accepted the tri-coloured winner sash at The View in Brisbane on Friday night.
"I am so thankful to be here today," Ms Kugel told the crowd.
"To the other 10 girls, it's been such an honour to meet you. I'm so excited to go forth and make change in our show societies, everybody in unity.
"Let's go forth and let's keep our shows continuing."
Runner-up was Cheneya Vetter from Charleville, the first married woman to compete and place in the program.
The competition was postponed not once, but twice due to COVID-19 forcing the cancellation of the Royal Queensland Show.
It made this year's program well worth the wait for the 11 finalists from across the state.
