South Australian farmers had the chance to experience New Holland's latest technology at the Yorke Peninsula Field Days last month.
A simulation of the Precision Land Management Intelligence and IntelliView 12 display was available to try throughout the three-day event.
New Holland SA precision farming specialist Peter Thompson, who manned the simulation, said farmers remarked on how 'everything is just at your fingertips'.
"They said it was intuitive, in terms of it looks complicated but actually it's not once you start using it," he said.
"Customisation is a really key thing, being able to configure controls that suit the operation at hand, making it a very comfortable vehicle to drive.
"All settings are quickly and easily accessible without deep menu structures. It is very efficient in terms of adjusting and setting parameters within the machine."

PLMi and the IntelliView 12 display are featured on New Holland's T8 and T9 range of tractors and will eventually roll out on all models.
Mr Thompson said the simulator gave operators a taste of what they would experience within the cab.
"We had a lot of interest from the next generation of farmers that are used to playing their farm simulators," Mr Thompson said.
"This is giving them a real experience of what it is like in those new machines.
"What you see in the simulator, the armrest and control is effectively going to be the same across all makes and models, making it easier for operators to move from one machine to another."
PLMi provides farmers with real-time remote data display, real-time servicing reports and remote software update capabilities.
This allows the operator to improve their operations and make informed agronomic decisions.
In the cab, the 30-centimetre IntelliView 12 display allows farmers to accurately control implements.
Hydraulic Remote Valve Management, Headland Turn Sequence II and Engine Speed Management can also be adjusted and set on the display.
Mr Thompson said the ease of data management was another key feature, with information collected from the machine and synchronised with the MyPLM Connect dashboard.
He said it was good to see operators of all ages getting comfortable with the technology.
