The Warwick Show and Rodeo Society has confirmed the Warwick Rodeo and Campdraft will definitely take place over four days from October 28 to 31.
Events and marketing coordinator Teilah McKelvey said the event would follow whatever Queensland Health and the local government COVID-19 restrictions are at the time.
"We have certainly marketed the event towards Queenslanders, knowing that the interstate visitors and competitors cannot attend," Ms McKelvey said.
"The current border closures have caused some disappointment for the event with the APRA National Rodeo Finals postponed."
The Warwick Gold Cup campdraft will kick off from Monday, October 25 with competitors competing for the $220,500 prize pool.
"We just ask everyone to follow the Queensland Health regulations and our COVID Safe Plan," Ms McKelvey said.
"Tickets can be pre-bought online and there will be some crowd restrictions."
