NSW-based Casino Food Co-op, the service kill abattoir also known as the Northern Co-operative Meat Company, shut its doors on Wednesday for a deep clean after an administration staff member reported testing positive to COVID-19.
At least 10 close and secondary contacts were self-isolating and being tested.
The unvaccinated staff member lives in the Kyogle local government area and has not travelled further afield; 95pc of admin staff are doubled jabbed.

Co-op CEO Simon Stahl said there was minimal contact between the employee and those processing meat.
"The time of exposure has been narrowed with further investigation and the fact that so many of our administration staff are fully vaccinated gives us a bit more confidence," he said.
The operation's tannery, on-site but separate and its Booyong pork processing plant will remain open. Staff at the Booyong plant are fully vaccinated as of last Friday.
