A large panel of local and interstate restockers plus the usual feeder buyers were in attendance. Prices remained strong for all the restocker, and feeder classes with any price variations only quality related.
Light weight calves to restockers sold to 708c/kg. Yearling steers under 200kg returning to the paddock sold to 698c/kg. Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to restockers averaged 610c and sold to 708c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market made to 590c to average 542c, with restockers paying to 564c/kg. Heavy weight yearling steers to feed averaged 541c and sold to 572c/kg.
Light weight yearling heifers to restockers made 614c/kg. Yearling heifers in the 200-280kg range to restockers averaged 571c and sold to 590c/kg. Yearling heifers to feed for the domestic market made to 538c to average 500c/kg. Heavy weight yearling heifers to the wholesale meat trade sold to 505c/kg.
Well finished medium weight cows to processors sold to 386c/kg. Heavy weight score 3 cows sold to export processors at 382c to average 368c/kg. Heavy weight bulls to processors sold to 380c/kg. Light weight bulls to restockers sold to 600c/kg.
