The Boshammer families set a new personal best Angus and Brangus record when their on-property sale saw a complete clearance of 105 bulls near Chinchilla on Wednesday.
In a breakdown of the final results; 100 Angus bulls sold to average $16,630 and topped at $35,000 while five Brangus bulls averaged $24,200 and topped at $34,000.
All 105 bulls sold to average $16,990.
It was a major rise on last year's sale result when 103 bulls averaged $8539.
Nick and Kate Boshammer of NB Genetics sold the $35,000 top selling Angus bull, NB Genetics Quinn Q815, to Alister and Joanne McClymont, Burleigh Station, Richmond who were represented by buyer Kevin Graham, Kevin Graham Consulting Pty Ltd, Brisbane.
The $34,000 top price Brangus bull was from Justin and Kate Boshammer of JK Cattle Company named JK Cattle Co Quintan Q567 who was secured by Rowan and Jess Douglas, Lagoona, St George.
