More than 120 past students of the Emerald Agriculture College gathered in Emerald on Saturday 26 June, to celebrate and reflect on 50 years of the training college.

It's been two years since the state government scrapped the Queensland Agricultural Training Colleges in 2019, following a review by Professor Peter Coaldrake.
Agriculture minister Mark Furner recently announced on June 25 that the former training facility will be redeveloped into the central Queensland Smart Cropping Centre.
