Cattle were drawn from Gayndah, Booubyjan, Childers, Bundaberg, Brooweena, Woolooga, Tiaro, Maryborough, Kenilworth, Conondale, Eumundi and all local areas.
Charbray steers from Maleny sold to 427c/kg to return $2063. Droughtmaster steers from E Farming, Bergins Pocket, sold for 425c ($2101, $2068 and $1968). Droughtmaster cross steers from the Gibbs family, Widgee, made 496c ($1614).
Droughtmaster steers from Fitz and Co, Kilkivan, made 558c ($1529 and $1522). Santa steers from Gayndah made 540c ($1500). Santa cross steers from D Sallaway, Goomeri sold for 578c ($1441). Charbray steers from J and Y Crossley, Widgee, sold for 578c ($1580).
Charolais cross steers from I and N Fleiter, Conondale, made 564c ($1220). Quality Brahman cross steers from McBean and Sorley, Kilkivan, sold for 512c ($1316). Droughtmaster steers from C and N McKay, Goomeri, made 598c ($1268).
Santa heifers from Gayndah made 424c ($1715). Grey Brahman heifers from Kilkivan topped at 420c ($1446). Brangus heifers from Tiaro made 420c ($1233 and $1417). Charolais cross heifers from Conondale made 430c ($1090). Droughtmaster heifers from Ray Heilbronn, Fisherman's Pocket, made 468c ($1248) and 440c ($1002). Generally, weaner heifers sold from 420c to 482c. Cows and calves topped at $2100.
