THE 740 hectare (1828 acre) Surat property Bullering has sold under the hammer for $1.7 million. The sale price is equal to about $2297/ha ($930/acre).
The buyers were local farmers Andrew and Margie Milla.
Located 5km north of Surat and 80km south of Roma, the very well developed property is in three freehold titles and has access to permanent water from a 3km frontage to the Balonne River.
Bullering features buffel, Mitchell, Flinders and urochloa grases, plus winter herbages including lambs tongue, crows foot and clovers.
Bullering is estimated to carry 200 dry cattle or the equivalent in breeders.
Improvements include steel cattle yards, two flowing bores, and a shed, and a crutching shed used for storage. The property is into three paddocks.
Plant including a John Deere 4450 tractor, Aggrow seeder, and a Furukawa wheel loader was included in the sale.
There is also an oil bore on the property.
