KATHY Duff's 917 hectare (2265 acre) Durong property Duffield has sold under the hammer at a Ray White Rural online auction for $1.51 million.
The three registered bidders were all active at the online auction, with the property selling to a Bell family.
Held by the Duff family for more than 100 years, the property is in two freehold titles, located about an hour from Kingaroy and 90 minutes from Dalby.
Duffield has a long history of running 200 breeders, and had been destocked leading up to the sale.
The property is securely watered by dams and a spring.
Improvements include a very well maintained highset Queenslander home, sheds, stables, and cattle yards.
Duffield also has income from a sand mining agreement.
The marketing of Duffield was handled by Ian Newson and Janelle Duffin from Ray White Rural, Mundubbera.
