BOQ clients have shown their generosity for a good cause at a dinner held at the Empire Hotel in Rockhampton, during Beef 2021.
More than 60 clients and BOQ staff attended the informal dinner providing the opportunity to catch-up and renew acquaintances.
Part of the night included a charity auction where two 5kg Wagyu strip loins were put up, courtesy of Wally Rea, The Overflow, Marlborough, plus a bottle of 2016 Penfolds Grange.

The first striploin sold for $1050, while the second notched up $1200. The wine sold for $950, with all proceeds going to Orange Sky Australia, a charity which provides mobile laundry services for those experiencing homelessness.
To date, BOQ has invested some $277,000 in the charity.
Head of BOQ Agribusiness Simon Davis expressed his appreciation of the clients choosing to bank with BOQ, while BOQ Business group executive Fiamma Morton, spoke on the positive outlook of the agriculture industry.
