BREASTSCREEN Queensland is set to benefit from the entire proceeds of a top quality Thompson Longhorn table-type cradle to be offered at a charity auction at 2pm today (Monday).
Valued at $4300 (plus GST), the calf cradle has been painted in a hard wearing pink two-pack in recognition of important cause and will be sold Gracemere.
The table-type calf cradle is one of Thompson Longhorn's most popular livestock handling products.
The calf cradle will be auctioned at 2pm at the start of the Beef 2021 replacement female sale, both live at Gracemere and on Stocklive.
The specially produced table-type calf cradle features twin catches, an adjustable flank bar, is fully greaseable and has a self-releasing baulk gate.
Managing director Byron Wolff said Thompson Longhorn was honoured to be able to support BreastScreen Queensland at the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.
"BreastScreen Queensland has been providing nationally accredited breast screening and assessment services to Queensland women for more than 25 years," Mr Wolff said.
"What better place to auction this pink calf cradle than at Beef 21 and support their important work."
