Feeder steers made $1980, feeder heifers reached $1730, aged Charolais cross cows and calves sold to $2800 and Simmental weaner steers eight months reached $1690.

There was considerable competition from Victorian and southern buyers along with great competition from clean country.

Dan Roots, Mt. Beppo, sold Brangus cross two-tooth steers at $1980. Warren Chapman, Thangool, sold Droughtmaster steers 20 months at $1960. Kerrod Pierce, Rockhampton, sold Brahman cross steers 20 months at $1780.

N and D O'Connor had Limousin cross steers 20 months at $1780. 2 Tons Pastoral Co, Harlin, sold 18 months Droughtmaster steers at $1640. Glen Hills Pastoral Co. sold Charolais cross steers 18 months at $1680 and $1640.

Lauren Cahill had Charolais cross steers 18 months at $1800. Edwin Cooke had 16 months Simmental cross steers at $1630. Neil Hobart's Charolais cross steers 12 months sold at $1600. Gramm Holdings sold 16 months Charolais cross steers at $1660 and $1600.

Boorarah Pastoral Co, Rathdowney, sold Angus Charolais cross steers 16 months at $1660. David and Elizabeth Spring sold Droughtmaster steer calves at $1470.

Gen and Janelle Cahill had Simmental cross steers eight months at $1690 (a great result), off to Victoria along with 220 other quality Euro cross weaners.

Goscomb family, Mary Valley, sold three decks of Limousin cross weaner steers selling at $1600 and $1540. Heifers sold at $1420 and $1410.

Ralph and Dianne Mayer sold Droughtmaster heifer calves six months at $1270. De Divina Pty Ltd sold Droughtmaster feeder steers at $1840. Bill Vickers had six months Angus steers at $1280.

Kennedy family, Conondale, sold Murray Grey cross steers 12 months at $1410. G and L Hose sold Santa Angus cross steer calves at $1600. PTIC aged Charolais cross cows from a/c G and A Marshall sold at $1960.

Rhys and Amy Inness of Goomeri had aged PTIC Charbray cows at $1780. Ashley Weeks sold Droughtmaster cross PTIC heifers at $1800.

A larger than normal number of heifers came forward and met excellent demand from feeders and breeders.

Anger and Hochmuth, Monogorilby, sold Droughtmaster and Bazadais cross heifers 20 months at $1730 and $1700. Manumbar Station sold five decks of Charolais cross heifers 12 to 16 months selling to $1660, $1630 and many pens over $1400.

Brisbane Valley Protein had Angus cross heifers 16 months at $1640 and Brangus at $1560 sold to southern buyers. Warren Chapman had Brangus heifers 12 months at $1390. Boorarah Pastoral Co. sold Angus cross heifers 15 months at $1590 to Victorian buyers.

Anger and Hochmuth had Droughtmaster Shorthorn cross heifers 18 months at $1670 and $1610 to lotfeeders. G and J Cahill sold Simmental cross heifers eight months at $1390 to Victorian buyers. MK Sweeney sold 18 months Droughtmaster heifers at $1560.

Aged Charbray cows and calves a/c G and A Marshall sold at $2800 and $2600 with Droughtmaster heifers and calves selling at $2600 and Droughtmaster cross mid aged cows and calves at $2600.

Edwin Cooke sold Charolais cross cows and calves at $2480. Angus cross cows and calves a/c Marshall sold at $2700. Barnes Grazing Co. sold Angus cross cows and calves at $2600. Lighter and lesser cows and calves sold at $1775 to $1900.
