Lincoln and Lisa Job, of Emerald in central Queensland, will showcase their unique tropically adapted Marellan Shorthorns to northern graziers at Beef 2021.
Their stud's motto is "Your Number One F1".
This reflects the suitability of their highly productive Shorthorn genetics to cross with Bos Indicus females to produce progeny that suit a a wide range of markets - or to be retained as elite breeders.
"We believe tropically adapted Shorthorns have more potential to blend with, and have a positive influence on, northern cattle systems than any other breed," Mr Job said.
"Crossing our tropically adapted Shorthorns into Bos Indicus herds provides graziers with a wide range of selling options.
"Our bulls are working in herds with target markets including the European Union, organic, domestic Meat Standards Australia (MSA), export grass-fed, domestic and export feedlot and vertically-integrated butcher shops.
"Some of our clients with Bos Indicus cows are now accessing MSA premiums for the first time with Shorthorn-sired cattle.
"Others are increasing their MSA index to help bolster their bottom-lines."
Mr Job said this was being achieved as a result of Marellan's breeding focus on fertility, growth and meat eating quality.
He said Shorthorn meat quality was very much part of the stud's balanced package of genetics to lift production efficiency and ensure highly saleable products.
"Meat quality and fertility are key limiting factors for the northern beef industry and Shorthorn bulls can be part of the solution," he said.

Marellan Shorthorn bulls are bred exclusively for use with Bos Indicus cows, and for use by top end beef producers.
The stud's herd is one of the most unique in the northern beef industry because it produces British-bred bulls in an environment where ticks are prevalent.
To demonstrate the combined benefits of their Shorthorns, the Jobs will feature F1 progeny from their Marellan clients at the Beef 2021 event.
Marellan Shorthorns will also offer three lots in the inaugural Beef Australia Stud Cattle & Genetics Auction, being held in conjunction with AuctionsPlus during Beef 2021.
At this year's event, the Jobs are releasing - for the first time - 20 straws of semen from "Marellan Viriviri" (P).
This is a top end bull retained to use on heifers and has posted an intramuscular fat content (IMF) of 6.8 per cent purely off grass.
"This is an incredible result, given the selection pressure that is imposed on Marellan Shorthorn bulls," Mr Job said.
He said 20 straws of semen would be available at Beef 2021 from the proven sire "Royalla Quantico", which had grandsons that averaged $20,000 at the Naracoorte Shorthorn Bull Sale.
Marellan will also have a six-embryo package available in any combination of the Marellan donor females.
"Elite production and environmental survivability must go together with longevity for selection into our donor program," Mr Job said.
"This is a never-before offered opportunity to select eggs from a unique Shorthorn herd with industry leading selection pressure.
"Selection pressure is not something we talk about to sell bulls, it is at the core of our breeding philosophy.
"Bulls are presented for the stud's annual sale with an extremely strict regime of no grain - not ever. Our sires are grown-out and wintered after weaning on dry buffel, with no lick or supplementary feeding and very limited animal health treatments."
Mr Job said the aim was for clients to be more impressed with their Marellan bulls in their herd in future years rather than on sale day.
"Sale day is just a drafting day, the important thing is the bulls provide genetic progress, meeting and exceeding client expectations," he said.
"What is great about the demand for Marellan Shorthorn bulls 'in the ticks', is that it is profitability - rather than popularity - driving demand.
"Demand for tropically adapted Shorthorn bulls in the ticks is far exceeding supply, and that's why we're also offering a big group of embryos for private sale to stud producers looking to breed Shorthorn cattle 'in the ticks'."
Mr Job said the Marellan stud focus had always been on making unique genetic progress in its herd to achieve the ambition of delivering genetic progress in client's commercial herds.
He said Marellan Shorthorn bulls in the ticks provided Queensland-based, and other northern, producers with outstanding F1 options - whether it be for maternal F1 cows, grass-fed operations or producers wanting profitable cattle that excel in feedlots, meeting the demands of consumers."
Cattle breeders and producers are invited to site CP11-12 at Beef 2021 to see Marellan stock.
