Roma-based photographer and sheep and goat producer Charlotte Allen is embarking on a project to shine a positive light on farming.
Ms Allen's business Aliven Photography is named after the 566 hectare property she shares with husband Josh and children Ty, 11 and Emma and Maddy, 6.
Her family and farm life have been the key inspiration for her photographs and now she's looking for farming families to come forward to be part of a special project.
"I feel like there's a lot of negativity towards the drought and farming among the public and I wanted to share the beauty of what life on the land is like," she said.
"I just see so much magic in our lives... even just the kids when they learn to drive the tractor.
"It's not all about animals dying and failed crops."
Ms Allen is looking for several families based within a three-hour radius of Roma to be photographed a number of times over a six month period, capturing key moments in their everyday lives.
"I'm looking for people who are really passionate about what they do and life on the land," she said.
"If you're passionate it just shines through."
Ms Allen only started her business last year but her passion for photography has been growing over the past five or six years.
" I started off with my phone and was taking photographs of what was happening around me," she said.
"People kept encouraging me and it grew from there."
Her photography tends to be documentary-style, capturing moments as they happen.
"I very rarely set people up and pose them," she said.
As for juggling her photography, life on the property and raising three children, Ms Allen said it's all a balancing act.
"Sometimes things are quieter, but I have weeks when I'm just "go, go, go"."
Ms Allen plans to hold an exhibition of the final Life on the Land photographic collection once it's completed, with the showing location yet to be finalised.
Photos will also be shared on social media throughout the project.
